Крупнейшие экономики мира, а значит, и крупнейшие эмитенты парниковых газов (такие как Соединённые Штаты, Китай, Индия, Россия, Бразилия, другие) должны одномоментно принять на себя необходимые обязательства и неукоснительно их соблюдать...
Однако мы готовы поставить для себя и новую задачу...
В чём она? Она заключается в том, чтобы сократить выбросы парниковых газов к 2020 году на 25 процентов (это очень значимая цифра), если считать за базу 1990 год.
В эти дни в Копенгагене проходит международная конференция ООН по климату. Я планирую принять в ней участие...

Информация о падении температуры - как сводки с фронта: в 6 утра взят рубеж -12°, в 9 утра пройдена отметка -16°, в полдень достигнут показатель -19°. Таким образом, за 12 часов температура упала на 16 градусов.

...как напоминают профессиональные метеорологи и климатологи, не следует смешивать погоду с климатом. Какими бы экстремальными ни казались или ни были на самом деле погодные явления, их самих по себе недостаточно для утверждений об изменении климата. Для этого нужны многолетние ряды наблюдений.
