Thanksgiving<3
I actually had a pretty awesome Thanksgiving... a belated one.
Saturday, I had lunch with a girl I met at a Nomikai<3 Misato-chan<3 She's older than me lol woops.
We met up by the station, and had lunch at a fancy Chinese place! I love lunches since they're cheaper than dinners, but still delicious<3
I got a little lunch set, since I've learned the hard way that bigger and better deal is not always the best choice... especially when I"m trying to slim down a little >__< But it was shrimp and vegetables with a sauce that has a hint of wasabi, some mini dish, and rice and soup<3 We also split an order of banana gyoza. We were first worried that it was a banana, but it's just that the gyoza pieces are huuuge. :D Everything was quite delicious~
and now I shall post my outfit~
-Uniqlo coat
-H&M turquoise sweater
-Uniqlo Navy skirt
-3 Coins tights with snowflakes
-old shoes
-cheap gloves
Afterwards, we went shopping a little. H&M and Uniqlo, 3 Coins? I think that's it.
I got more heat tech stuff and a little storage box thing to put along my bed<3 It was quite cheap and it gives color to my bare room. (I also added some decoration to my room hehe but I forgot when... I think it was Friday when I decided to stay in)
Then we decided to get some coffee.
Tiramisu latte<3
holy crap it was sweet But delicious. I broke my anti-coffee streak... -___-
But it was delicious so oh wells.
We talked about life, boys, future, etc. I'm really glad to have met her. :D
Afterwards, I biked home, after stopping at DonQui for sparkling wine, spam, and garlic. lol what a combo.
But I dropped everything off and went to a Thanksgiving party!
About 30 people showed up~ It was delicious! I decided to go fight for food instead of trying to take pictures. haha. :P
The Reymos bottle was sparkling wine, and it was quite delicious! It was pretty cheap too~ Not as cheap as Trader Joe's but still delicious! Oh and do you like my plate of mush?? haha it was really good. I had seconds, and a plate full of dessert. Pumpkin cheesecake and apple turnovers?? KILL ME.
It was fun~ met some new people. :)
But then we decided to go drink more. Greg's place! But then I didn't know anyone, there was no chaser, and the guy that asked me out was there, so I decided to bounce with Michelle and Nick to go to a Bar Charlie plays at. The bar was called Stairway to Heaven, and it was quite fun! A little expensive, but I had a great time listening to the drunk master and people play some good guitar~
I decided to go home (It was already past 3am) to get some sleep for another big day Sunday~
SUNDAY, I went to an onsen!! Hot spring!!
It was so nice to actually relax. I was wearing heels (itty bitty but still heels) so my feet were hurting like crazy... They probably smelled too. :/ but the onsen was amazing. I'm definitely going there again.

I got home, and then went to my lab's post doc's house to hang out with some of my lab mates for nabe<3 Hot pot! It was a lot of fun. They gave me and two other people a little quest thing... We had to make rolled cabbage!!! I only ate it once before, so I was like uhhhhhh. >___> But then it was funny how I somehow made the burger patty part. I was proud of myself.
The rolled cabbage tasted amazing! It was juicy and the boys who were watching us fail said it was good too~ We put deli mustard into one of their rolled cabbage (it ended up being the "big" one lol but he didn't notice) but it actually complimented the dish so we were like -_____-
haha
But the miso base was delicious, the food was delicious, the company was really fun~ I wish we can do this more :D
I went home to do some homework... woooo! and get ready for stupid Japanese classes and yeahhh... -____-
