i've got all of my social studies unit planned out. i just need to type up the last 2 lessons in the unit. it's on landforms. they're going to do a research project;)
my science unit i haven't started because another pre-student teacher forgot to bring me the book i need to make the lesson. i know it'll be over cycles or habitat though.
and my language arts-math integrated unit, which is a HUGE-GIANT pain in my ass only needs 3 more lessons (out of 6). my damn math instructor is also my field experience guide and requires ungodly large and useless lesson plans...about 6-9 pages. surprisingly, the lessons i spend the hours making giant lesson plans for i don't do as well on. the kids don't know what to concentrate on and i never remember everything i want to say to them.
at any rate, i'm almost done with my lessons! the rest of the month won't be easy by any means, but it -is- almost over.
one important (right then i accidentally typed pimport..haha...) thing i've learned from having to prepare units and teach different grade levels for a month with no real teaching resources (worksheets, games, cards, etc.) is that it will be nearly impossible to come out of student teaching with any kind of success if i work at the same time. soooo, i need to scrounge up $1200 to pay rent with until i'm done student teaching next semester. maybe i'll get soem scholarships too?
i used my free tan masters total fitness center pass today. it's really nice there. i'm so pale i doubt i'll get much of a tan, but at least i won't burn as bad when summer starts. i can only start at 6-8 minutes. sucha red head.
wait, i don't think i posted about my free tanning certificate! i won it at grahams! oh, it was funny. on st. patty's day i won third in a sexy red head contest where i danced on a bar with some girls. and i won first in a baby oil wrestling match. there were some big girls wrestling so i think the only reason i won the baby oil wrestling is because i was bound and determined. the other girls were trying to be hot and prissy anyway. actually, the second place girl was smaller than the other girls i wrestled. they ended up splitting my winnings with the second place winner, which sucked. i told william and he got kicked out. lots of drama. it was a bunch of bull, but i still got in free and went home $125 richer.

i can't believe i actually am making it through this hectic semester!
i'm gonna go take a shower and shave my legs.
