sudden death
was partying saturday night with high school friends, dinner then drinking and lotsa storytelling about high school days...i was having fun until 4am!
sunday, i went around all malls i could go to...first stop, promenade, then shang, then rockwell and i was back at the theater mall...when i realized i haven't seen my dad...i called him and found out he was rushed to the hospital saturday night...while i was having fun...not much fun though.
i went to see him sunday night, funny, while i was busy malling, i was thinking of him and bought him his usual meal...nesvita...i bought him all flavors, chocolate, strawberry and natural flavors...i did not know i'd bring them all to the hospital.
i was the only person in the hospital with him...his initial reaction was: what the hell am i doing there? what's with all the food? i should go home and take everything with me...
i was torn apart...i did not know whether i should leave or stay...then my aunt came with meghan and miggy, my adorbale cousins...the doctor then appeared and talked to my dad.
funny, my dad talked about parties and events he was organizing for ateneo law school's utopia...then the doctor addressed me: i need to talk to you.
doctor: we need to do a family meeting, your mom and brothers, your dad's condition is getting worst, he needs to be opened up...soon. he's aq candidate for sudden death now...his heart deteriorating and we need to operate...
i did not know what to say...i don't know what to do.
i went back to the room and talked my papa...he asked me what the doctor told me...he asked me to go home.
my aunt is now calling for a family meeting...my papa doesn't want any operation...it's too expensive and the risks are too high...
so now, we wait ...for the sudden death.
