I met Robert DeNiro yesterday. It was pretty weird. (His son is in my class, so I knew I was going to meet him eventually, but it was still pretty weird.) He came up to my classroom in the morning. We shook hands, and he was introduced to me as "Bob." He was dressed in a totally low-key way--baseball cap and all. I guess he probably has to try to keep a low profile.

So, yes, school has started again. It's only been 2 days, but i already feel totally exhausted. I forget how much energy it takes to be a teacher. Hopefully I'll get used to it soon.
