testing
I think someone is testing me, I have news...I refuse to break.
Todays synopsis:
about 11am my granmother calls, my aunt is in the hopital,just got out of surgery and its not looking great. Apparently she was taken to the hopsital barely able to breathe last night, I dont know all the specifics, but something about her lungs being full of something hard and being chipped out. I think I kind of phased out in the middle of hearing it all.
then about 12:30 my sister called,today she signs her divorce papers so she was a little down about that. Her husband is a great guy, but she brought this on herself. I wont go into details.
While on the phone with her, she reminded me of the date. Id all but forgotten today was the 28th. Today is 5 years ago that my grandfather passed away from cancer. To those of you that knew me then, all the memories of that day arent bad. I also remember those of you who I could lean it in what was one of the hardest things I ever went through.
On some good notes: I talked to Lee last night and he really enjoyed his first day at school. He said he has a great instructor and they had a test at the end of the day for the stuff they did during the day which he scored a 94. Today is his first day actually in a truck and I know hes very excited. Also, My cousin was finally heard from in FL. She moved and didnt think to let anyone in the family know, or bother to worry we might have thought something happened to her during all these hurricanes.
The weather here today is superb, its cool because of all the rain and winds from Jeanne. Last night was stormy and apparently 18 tornadoes touched down in NC but nothing around me. I slept soundly with the bedroom window open due to my love of rain.Perhaps that is why I dont have as bleak an outlook today as I probably would. Rain does wonders for me. Bring it on.
