How...odd.
It's been quite a long time since I've been a passenger on a plane. I've worked flights, I've deadheaded on others (which is similar to being a passenger, but I'm schduled to be there), but I haven't really been...a passenger. Not for a while.
Now I'm sitting on an ERJ (baby jet - more seats than my plane, but not as roomy) and we're delayed due to weather, and I keep going, "This feels so familiar, but something's wrong... Oh, yeah. I'm not the one in the jumpseat. Huh."
Randomly: ExpressJet (Continental Express) has a pre-recorded announcement. I'm so used to doing my own.
And I'm tired and my brain is rambly because we landed in Nantucket late last night because the President was in Newark, so we were holding on the ground, and I finally got to sleep...probably around 1:10. That's in the morning, too. And then I got up at 4:00 a.m. for the flight back to Newark. Unfortunately, I have trouble sleeping on airplanes, so napping is going to be difficult.
Hopefully we can get going soon. I want to get to Baltimore and see everyone!
