Quilting Friday Five - On Tuesday!
I haven't done one of these in a while. Don't know why. But anyway, here is last weeks Quilting Friday five from the calicocats community.
1. Have you ever participated in a Mystery Quilt project? I did a mystery quilt at a local quilt shoppe. It was part of the International Mystery Quilt Series. It was the month they did Japan.
2. What concerns do you have with doing a Mystery Quilt? Well, with that one the fabrics were chosen for me. The biggest concern I would have with a mystery quilt is that I might not like it as much as I would have had I known what the pattern was and chosen the fabrics according to the pattern as opposed to guessing (if that makes sense)
3. Have you ever finished a mystery project (share picture, pretty please?)? Almost. I need to take a picture of it. It's bound and everything, but the longarm had a bit of trouble when I quilted it and I had to take out some stitches. I accidently tore the back (just a very tiny tear). I put fray check on it but want to applique something over it. I just haven't gotten around to that yet.
4. Do you enjoy reading mystery genre books? Oh yes.
5. Do you like surprises? Sometimes, as long as they are good ones. :)
