I had a doctor's appointment today. I switched to a Doctor of Osteopathy because I liked the holistic aspect of care. I went for several reasons.
My right shoulder started bothering me two months ago. After a month, I decided to make an appointment. Well, with so many doctor's appointments in January, for financial reasons I made the appointment for today. Of course, now my shoulder is better.
I do have other issues though. My right ankle has always been week. Lately, the cartilage has been moving more, and sometimes it can be painful to walk. Most of the time, this only lasts for a few minutes. Once in a while, half or a whole day. It's been happening more often the last couple of months.
I also walk on the outside part of the soles of my feet. There for, when my shoes wear out, they do so at an angle. This is probably one reason why I twist my ankle a lot and why my cartilage moves around so much.
Evidently, I've pulled the ligaments pretty badly in my ankles. He's sending me to a podiatrist. I'm hoping I don't have to have surgery.
He asked if I snored. I told him I didn't know but my husband thinks I should have a sleep study done because I never seem to get enough sleep. So...another referral.
I turn 30 later this month. I'm too young for all these problems. Blar.
One good note - my blood pressure was 112 over 75 and I've lost a couple of pounds!
