1. If you could pack all your sewing stuff (stash, notions, machines, etc) into boxes - how much space do you think it would take? Hm. It would probably take up a small room. I've only been quilting a year, so I probably don't have nearly as much stuff as some other people. One lady in my guild has a big room for a sewing room and she has walls of shelves filled with fabric and other things. I think she has some notions and fabric in another room too. :) No my husband would probably argue with me about my stuff, but he hasn't seen this lady's house. :)
2. Do you know where all your sewing stuff will go, if (heaven forbid) something happened to you? My husband would probably be the one to distribute it. Personally, I'd probably ask him to make sure my friend Mindy got first pick of the fabric that was left (Save for the fabric I had picked out for my children's twin quilts) and then donate the other fabric either to Faithworks (a ministry my church does) or to the guild for community service projects. I would also hope that he'd get someone to make the twin quilts for my children since I couldn't.
3. How often do you clear out your stuff? Not often enough. Actually, I have a bag to donate to Faithworks that I need to take to church.
4. Have you used your stuff for gifts? (meaning you shared fabric, gave an extra notion, etc.) Yes, I had a secret sister and had an extra pattern that I had accidently bought two of that I gave to her.
5. What is your dream sewing machine (please share a picture)? Well, I thought it was an HQ Pro quilter, but now I'm rethinking that. I liked how it felt, but I was told that the quilting area is small. I didn't get a whole lot of time to play with it so I didn't really notice about the area. Anyway, I think I'll do more research before I say which one this time. :)
