Hi, I occasionally write things here.
Colossal Con was this past week-end. I have nothing articulate to say because it's quite early in the morning (har har har), but I had myself a splendid time. Perhaps I will go along to OhayoCon in January, if I have the money and if I'm not tied up with anything school/theatre-related. My TJ costume is ridiculously comfy, and I will never again forget my ace bandages when wearing it (duct tape to flatten one's chest works not so well).
Went to the doctor yesterday to try to have my vague and persistent symptoms diagnosed. Had an EKG and bloodwork and all sorts of fun things. The EKG came back normal, but I'm going in next Tuesday for an echocardiogram, just to check for possible "floppy valves." Bloodwork is a precaution to check for anemia. Won't be surprised if that's the case. At any rate, it's nothing physiologically serious - apparently most of it is stress/anxiety related, which was my guess. Must work on cutting back on those things. Furthermore, was prescribed an antihistamine, which will hopefully clear up this congestion which has been killing my voice for three months or more.
Work today was awful. Eleven hours that dragged far too much. All my energy was gone four hours in; I had to drink a caffeinated coffee-based beverage to avoid falling asleep across the cutting board. Which is why I'm up now. Grrr.
However, things are okay. Am getting some sleep (am still so exhausted as usual, but my nightly totals are rather good). Next week I get to go a-camping (wee hoo!) unless my father suddenly decides against it, but that probably will not happen. Also I may get to go up to Cleveland to see some of my lovelies from school, including the Miss Prism to my Cecily, which will make me ecstatic ten ways from Sunday. ♥
Lastly: a friend sent me this song (the video on YouTube, actually) last week. It's been always in my head since. WHEE!
