Life begins somewhere with the scent of lavender.

Things to do before bed:
. Write in paper journal.
. Finish activities log.
. Practice at least one of my speeches.
. Find another alarm clock so I can make sure I get up on time tomorrow.
. Wash dishes.
. Read something good. Probably something from Best American Essays 2003, as I love it lots.

Things I did today:
. Cooked (yays).
. Started studying again.
. Overslept (again).
. Read some stuff.
. Watched Eureka seveN har har har.

Things I did not do today:
. Exercise (bleh I am lazy).
. Take my vitamins (oops).
. Practice all my speeches (oops).
. Research my next speech.
. Clean my room.
. Cut up my skirts.

Things I NEED TO DO OMG:
. Practice all my speeches.
. Research my next speech.
. Clean my room.
. Exercise.
. Stop. Eating. Bad stuff.
. Go to the mall and the thrift store

Lately I am all lists when I try to write things. I have letters that need to be written but I have been too scatterbrained to sit down and compose them. However, I am making good resolutions and actually acting on them for once. Well, most of them. Yays. And do not let my totally "bleh" mood of the moment fool you - I have actually been quite chipper all day, even though I did sleep too late. I think I'm going to bed within the hour, as I am sleepy.

All I do lately is sleep. I think my body is doing the equivalent of grabbing me by the shoulders and shaking me a bit and saying, "Look. You have been harassing me and depriving me of proper nourishment and rest. CUT IT OUT." So I sleep, and I eat veggies and stuff. Yays. And no, I have no clue what I'm even talking about anymore.

OH. Good point of interest: I got all my grades for the semester, and I somehow passed biology lab with a C+. I have no idea how that happened, but I am bowing down in grateful humility nonetheless. Am also slightly astonished at my GPA. I will never be able to maintain it for the next seven semesters (har dee har har), but it's... um... it's really good. Thanks, Honors FYSE 101, for being easier than any of my high school English classes. Thanks, Honors Comm, for being easy (albeit time consuming like WHOA). Thank you, thank you, Environmental Biology lecture, for being easier than any high school science course I ever took. And thanks, Stagecraft, for having a grading system based almost entirely on attendance. You guys make me happy now that it's all said and done.

Sweet mercy. I am addressing my classes. My classes. I think it's time for bed.

Things to do tomorrow:
. Go to a job interview. At Arby's. UGH.
. Exercise (DO IT, DO IT).
. Practice. Speeches.
. Research. Speeches. (The final draft is due by Christmas. Ugh.)
. Go hang out at the high school and maybe help set up for Saturday's speech tournament, at which I am judging, heck yes.

Opposite of bonjour.
