It's burning in our fingers and it's burning on the road.
Things that are better than studying:
. Playing in the snow (why won't it snow here?!).
. Cooking.
. Spaghetti dinners at 9pm.
. Playing Heather Nova quite loudly and singing along while cleaning.
. Naps.
. Talking with you.
. Running down the hall and making airplane noises.
. Bicycle-riding (I need to bring my bike next semester).
. Big delicious salads (want one so badly right now).
. Reading All the Strange Hours.
. Writing letters.
. Just about anything.
I am just being a whiney child, though. I only have a very very short paper to do and a simple review for an easy test, and then I'm done. But I think that's making it worse - I'm kind of in the mindset of, "La, nothing that's left is hard, so I can shirk it until the last minute!" Bad plan. So I'm chipping away bit by bit. It'll get done soon. But at the moment I am going to totally sing some Heather Nova.
And yes, the history exam ate my brain. But I survived. Opposite of bonjour, kids.
