My life the past few months: 50% university work, 50% LOST
Weekend-long LOST marathons have me now up to date with all 5 seasons in preparation for the 6th and final season.
Which means I can now happily browse the internet without worrying about spoilers at every turn (for previous seasons).
I'm also on the hunt for a Dharma jumpsuit so when I get hold of that, you know I'll be doing a LOST-based photoshoot.

P.S. I wish I had continued to be wary of LOST-related internet things. I just stumbled upon Desmond/Sayid fanfiction. Wrong, sick and wrong.

Went to see Avatar. I didn't really expect much from it, and thats exactly what I got. I can understand that the technology, effort and effects that went into creating it are impressive (probably more so to those of older generations) but it just wasn't my thing. The storyline was predictable, I've seen the same thing in such films as Pocahontas and Ferngully, which aren't the most original either. It just seemed like all the effort was put into making an 80s storyline look good (and I didn't even like the character designs). It was a good film for something to zone out to, but I'm really quite surprised that some people seem to think it was actually a really brilliant film.

lost, rant
