Summary: The SJ13 is a code for authority. The organization has been running for years and nobody knows their contacts except for the president himself. No one knows their identities and they assassinate terrorist who tries to disturb the country. They consist of only 13 members and yet deadly to those who meant harm. The number of the devil, but what does truly lies beneath the exterior of fear among for these human weapons?

PART 1: “We Might at Least Have Our Fun Out of it.”
“I’ll send you the info.” The president’s last word was said through the phone before 13 minutes came. The code was never supposed to be broken. Orders needed to be said before 13 minutes came. It was the only law ‘The SJ13’ made the president do, or else the command won’t be executed. Leave the papers in front of the large church in Seoul and that was it. The contact number doesn’t last and send another number to the president. One number consisted of one call only.
The president himself didn’t know the faces himself. He only knew these guys when the Korean section of the CIA was hacked and the voice demanded to be cut through the president. They never failed him to certain extent. They proved their abilities by killing the most wanted Drug dealers of Korea. They sent him a video of how 13 men on black garments and black mouth masks with glasses beat the guts out of the main guy. They were packed with complete technology and armed weapons & firearms, and they knew their ways through those items.
How they sent the warehouse of the drugs exploding in front of the camera was unbelievable for the president. When they’ve proven their point on offering their service for the country, the president agreed to work with them. There were only few rules; their phone call was never to be over 13 minutes or else they will disregard the order. The only one that could talk to the leader is the president. They didn’t care on what the commands were for but only regarded reasons for the country. There will be no personal meetings and their identity will remain a secret.
And so citizens didn’t know they existed. All solved terrorism problems were covered by the CIA. There were no heroes said and names known. Even the voice was animated to different one.
The president didn’t know how these people remained hidden with their equipments. He tried locating these guys once but failed when he received a message through his phone, the leader threatened to stop their contact if the president tried to locate them again. Since then, the president didn’t dare using his people to find them again for their help is very important to him and the country.
Traces are impossible for these SJ13.

“Cheers~!” a blonde exclaims as he puts his arms around a taller guy.
The taller guy holds up his glass and they toast. The other guys were still drinking their booze as music from their sound system continued blasting.
“Guys~ you should be celebrating! That sardonic pirate-wannabe was ass-kicked by us!” the blonde shouts and the taller guy that was hugging him nodded.
“You’re drunk, Minnie.” Donghae blurted out and the blonde pouted.
“KyuHyun, take him to your room, he might use some little fuck from you.” Donghae coldly says to the taller guy and KyuHyun just smirked as he guided Sungmin to the small hallway. Siwon, who was sitting at the same couch with Donghae, approaches him and asks, “What’s your problem, Hae?”
Donghae looks away and grimaces as he recalls the reason.
“If Sungmin would just restrain a little. We were ordered to stop and kill those bastards but we were not ordered to torture them. We are the same as them if it’s like that. The only mercy we could give them is quick deaths, not like what Sungmin did.” Donghae recoils again and Siwon only sighed.

A week ago,
They were just from a mission from a far island where human trafficking was being conducted. They learned that women and children were being tortured there and they were tasked to stop it and help them escape.
SJ13 was great at being silent. They planted bombs around the sealed gate with their bomb expert, Kibum, and the snipers, Ryeowook and Heechul, shoot every guard outside and the inside from the windows quietly. When the bomb was activated, the gate flew open and the fastest one, Hyukjae, charges in and threw a capsule of teargas while they wore their masks. He threw his knives on different direction as he saw clearly with their night-vision mask.
Donghae worked with his revolvers and shoot every guard he could see as Siwon stood behind him who also cleaned up with his assault rifles. Good that their snipers did half of the job. Hyukjae ran around the front lobby and slashed necks by necks with his favourite knife and Sungmin and KyuHyun proceeded to the mansion with the others. Sungmin threw another smoking tear gas and made his chains fly. Every person in that room tried attacking and shoots the two but failed when Sungmin choked them one by one with his chains as KyuHyun shot the approaching ones with his magnums to cover Sungmin.
Leeteuk and Kangin were in the other room and started firing their machine guns to the men inside. They had a hard time then because the guys were ready for them and Leeteuk didn’t bring any tear gas. That was when ShinDong entered to help them and shoot the screaming chickens in the room with his shotgun firing up.
Hangeng, Kibum, and Yesung proceeded to the second floor and there they were welcomed with ready men with high-quality firearms.
They stopped for a minute as they saw the leader of the group smile at them.
Kibum smirked at them and said, “You don’t know my bombs are more special than those cheap things.”
The leader was angry and then started firing at Kibum. Kibum swiftly avoided the bullets and fired back only with his gloc, having hit no one. The leader laughed with Kibum’s gun and said, “That is what you call cheap.”
That was when Yesung charged in and shoot almost half of them with his light machine gun. The leader was surprised by the fast movement and Hangeng ran towards him, kicking him on the gut and came behind him to elbow his back. The man threw up blood and quickly pulled his gun to shoot Hangeng when the Chinese guy suddenly pushed something round into his mouth. Hangeng rapidly stepped away and stood beside Kibum and Yesung.
Within seconds, the man exploded. The three watched in silence as the leader’s affiliates were injured from the single explosion. Kibum shot the remaining living ones who are only slightly breathing and sent them to their death. “Never underestimate my bombs.” He smirked and Hangeng followed him and Yesung as he walked away from the second floor hall.
“Never mention that to Donghae if you don’t want to see drama again.” Kibum told the two who nodded. Having someone’s head explode in front of you was something ironically unbearable for Donghae.
When they’ve gotten the information they needed where the captives were hidden, Donghae shot the last man they’ve encountered and proceeded to the underground. They let the captives loose to the different direction as they wanted them to avoid seeing the bloodshed. Rescue was informed to the agency then.
Before the government could meet the assassins, they’ve dived towards the sea to meet their yacht which Heechul and Ryeowook had set-up.
That was when they had a problem with Sungmin.
Before jumping on the cliff, Sungmin yelled from the other side of the cliff, “Hey Donghae! You missed one!”
Donghae and the others turned and saw Sungmin hanging a choking pirate-clothed guy with his chain. He pulled and waved his chains as he winds up the man like the one the grandfather clock does. The man choked to his death.
“Yah Sungmin!!! Leave it! We should be going now!” Donghae yelled and from afar, he could see helicopters coming. KyuHyun was going back when Leeteuk pulled him back and they jumped off from the cliff.
They needed to escape fast if their identity still mattered to them. Donghae and Sungmin were the only ones left.
“Why should I? Didn’t you see this was the guy that was smiling that disgusted smile as he tortured the small girl? He had guts recording it...” Sungmin quietly said as his eyes turned dark while smiling blankly to the dead man hanging on the cliff with his chains around his neck.
Donghae was sickened by the thought but got back to himself when Sungmin threw the man off to the ocean. That was the time he grabbed the smiling blonde to his arms and jumped to the ocean also.
“We might be breathing and bathing to the same sins they had if you continue doing that.” Donghae quietly told Sungmin as he held him tightly. Sungmin didn’t respond and they landed onto the angry currents. They swam back to the approaching yacht and got held up by the others. Hyukjae ran to them worriedly and Donghae only kept quiet and excused himself to his room. Sungmin was held by KyuHyun and only said, “He’s at it again. I need a shower.” Everyone sighed in relief as they’ve accomplished another mission. Heechul sped up and drew the yacht away from any eyes that might see them. Hangeng’s hands were around his waist and Heechul teased, “Ew, you smelled blood together with that sea smell.” Hangeng smiled and answered back with kissing his lover instead.
Leeteuk caught Sungmin and started scolding him on not risking the team on expose again. Sungmin kept silent as he walked off with KyuHyun.
Leeteuk sighed and said, “He really needs to control his emotions.”
Kangin approached and pulls Leeteuk close to him, “You know what it’s like to him so just forgive him.” Leeteuk gives in as he leaned on Kangin. ShinDong was at the corner of the yacht, breathing in some air as he talked to his girlfriend on phone.

“Donghae?” Hyukjae calls out as he goes in his and Donghae’s shared quarter in the yacht. It was near morning after the party and they’ll be back in their destination in 3 hours. They remembered suddenly why they were here. They were all orphans trained to be like the ones they are now. Their founder, Lee Soo Man found them one by one with different stories underneath them. Lee Soo Man was a billionaire and had never had any family. He was a politician who wanted some weapons against terrorism and so he garnered all his wealth to accessing different technologies and equipments for his future human weapons to use. He was an intelligent man as no one had ever known what he was up to.
He started adopting wounded children. He found Leeteuk first. Leeteuk was a street child who was sold for his organs. Soo Man saw how Leeteuk ran away from his strong sense of survival when news reported Leeteuk slicing fingers of an illegal surgeon to escape operation. Soo Man immediately tracked Leeteuk and adopted him. Heechul was a victim of domestic violence and was orphaned again when he didn’t tell his foster parents the car they’re gonna use has gas leaking, letting them die without him in the car. Kangin was someone Soo Man saw as strong and determined guy to stay alive. Siwon, Ryeowook, ShinDong, Kibum, and Yesung were the survivors of a rundown orphanage who is rumoured to be using children as test subjects for medicines in the past. Hangeng, the Chinese member, was recruited by a ten year-old Heechul who found him on the streets of abandoned foreign children.

Yet he proved Soo Man he wanted to do something for his country by killing all men he could but will never reason out killing as something to define acquiring something selfishly. He doesn’t want to be like the man he despised the most, killing her mother with one bullet in her head. He wanted revenge yet Soo Man wasn’t willing to share his knowledge about the man just then. He wanted Donghae to acquire self-control which Donghae did. Soo Man then promised he will tell him someday.
Sungmin was the last one in the group. He was found by Soo Man in children welfare. He was a young killer. Because of self-defence, the orphan Sungmin living in the streets killed his assaulter by choking the man with a chain nearby him in the alley. Sungmin was always abused by his guardian who did nothing but tortures him with cigarette busts and when he started molesting him, Sungmin ran away and was chased, doing the crime he didn’t mean to do.

KyuHyun was a computer genius, adding aide to Soo Man’s plans, and all found their own specialties to delivering deaths.
Soo Man treated them like his own children and by ways of hiding his transactions; he had connections with DBSK group of communication. Leeteuk had his voice moderator and acquired their equipments without catching attention with the help of DBSK, two FBI geniuses who promised to help them with hiding their dealings, making the president wrap his mind on how SJ13 hides.
They consisted of 13 members and it was KyuHyun’s idea to limit the phone call to 13 minutes. They started contacting the president and had done their 1st mission smoothly at the age of 19. Seven years passed and Soo Man had died of old age, inheriting his children his knowledge and wealth. Leeteuk continued their plans and they all agreed to accept their fate as expendable assets of the country. It was up to the members if they wanted to go and have their own life. Until now, they were still complete.
The frustrated one was Donghae. Soo Man never told him his parents’ killer and it left him to a conclusion if Soo Man wanted him to take revenge or not...
