My knee is still feeling good. When I saw the doc last Thursday I got a shot of cortisone through the joint and underneath the kneecap. No pain at all, only a slight throb when I stretch. Hopefully I won't need too much more to heal. Therapist says to go easy a couple weeks andreassess.
I am still making amazing strides in the gym, and wondering when it's going to grind to a halt. FOr now though I'm enjoying the hell out of making such gains.
Todays's lifts:
warmsd up with a set of 95 for 15 reps, then 125 for 8. Loaded up 135 (my former one rep max, and last week was my 3 rep max). Blew the doors off the damn thing and hit it for five easy reps. Finished up with 6 sets of 130 for 3 reps/set.
Military - 5 sets of 5 with 75 pounds. New pr
Dips - relaxed the band and it seemed like I hardly needed it except to steady my legs through the movement. I was only getting assistance in the rock bottom portion of the dip. I am VERY happy about that.
Finished up with 4x5 sets of skullcrushers at 55 pounds.
My elbow's tendond and ligaments really must have developed and become stronger, because all of these movements should cause me a lot more pain than they do now. This is a very good thing.
