I hate it when my posts get blown into the ether...
Friday - tournament went as well as I expected. I have one freshman who got his first varsity win, and another who always loses by 2 points. I'm spending this week working on those weaknesses and prepping my team for districts this week.
Saturday was SUPPOSED to be part II of the tourney, but the damn district didn't send me a bus, so we had one angry, cold, and wet coach and 8 angry, wet, and cold wrestlers with nowhere to go. It sucked getting up at 5am Saturday to do NOTHING. But at least the sex was awesome, and Saturday morning sex is rare during the season.
Saturday evening was spent test driving a new car (Saturn Vue - didna like it) and watching the re-release of 12 Monkeys. Brad Pitt's last and best role. We also had home-made chicken reuben sandwiches. YUM.
Sunday we went on a 12.5 mile bike ride, which I rose in an agonizingly sliow gear, to make sure no pressure was put on my knee. It didn't make my knee worse OR better. Sunday night spent watching Coupling season 3 disc 1 and having awesome asian marinated flank steak w/ mushrooms, and curried roast cauliflower. *YUMMMMM* One of my fave meals to date.

Monday's Workout
Trying hard to get that next notch up on my bench. Last time I mnaged for three sets, and this time I got to 4 sets, but on the 5th I was pushing that damn iron up so hard that I saw red stars and nearly passed out. COOLIO! I love the fact that I'm hitting real weights now and can push so hard I get that "lifter's high."
So here are the stats:
Bench 5 sets completed x 3 reps - 130 pounds
calf press - 4 sets x 25 reps - 90 pounds
military - 10 sets 3 reps - 71 pounds
4 set x 5-10 rep band dips
