I love the little runty wanna-be mexican gangstas who threaten me in class. It amuses me greatly.
Wrestling practice was fun. I taught everybody how to do hip tosses from underhooks today, and took several of them for rides over my hips down to the mat. I'm REALLY good at throwing people - years and years of martial arts helps with that.
My workout felt much less intense since I've eliminated all leg movements for the next week or so. But it gives me an opportunity to do some movements I don't normally do.
Military presses - 75 pounds for one set (too much) then back down to 72 for 9 sets of 3.
Calf presses - 50lbs - 3 sets of 25 straight leg, 2 sets of bent leg
Bicep curls 5 sets of 5, 1 set of 8 55 lbs
band dips - 4 sets of 3-4
shrugs - 3 sets of 8, trap bar + 90 pounds
I'm trying hard to train curls and dips - they are MURDER on my elbows and wrists - both of which have been weak my whole life. But I shall overcome. My forearms actually feel like they're pumped and worked hard, which has never happened my whole life. Kewl! They feel too tired to work a mouse, actually.
I bet I'm going to be all owie tomorrow!
