3 O'Clock Dance Break!

Jul 31, 2010 10:26

Wooh, sorry people. I know I haven't talked to you in forever. This entry is completely different than anyone before... because:
Yesterday was one of the best days of my life!

First, I could go and check my result on Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English. And guess what?!

I GOT AN A!!!!!!!

I'm sooo proud of myself! Even my parents said they were proud of me. I got 84% (would have needed 80 to get an A).
So, so happy.

And as if this wouldn't already have made my day (week, month, year!), the lovely Pauley P. started something really really great at like 2am (LA local time): The 3 O'Clock Dance Break.
It's really simple. You just take a minute, or two or three (or more!), at either 3am or 3pm, to do a little dance and have fun! Wherever you are and whoever is there (ask them to join!). Film it. Then upload it on YouTube, Twitter or any other site and spread the fun and joy!

So yeah. Pauley just tweeted this and asked everyone to do a "3 o'clock dance break". And of course, I did.
Here's what I did with my Mom at 3pm on July 30: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQx6LAzkeBM

Or, you can watch all my vids on Twitvid: http://twitvid.com/videos/tanjacaloi

So yeah, it was so much fun making the video and spreading it and talking with other people about it.... and now I'm SO happy! I got to know some really awesome people on that Twitter thingy and it's so much fun hanging there and just talking about random stuff and getting each other to do silly dances at 3s.

Pauley uploaded a video herself, by the way. Way cute! On set, in her Abby clothes!

It's amazing how everyone of Pauley's wishes is our command. She tweets something and all of a sudden, people from around the world DANCE at three, FILM it and UPLOAD it for everyone to see.
She just has this talent to make people happy. By talking to them, by having these brilliant ideas, by posting pics, by sharing things. She just makes everyone smile. And for that, I love her. So much.

Again, for the 1000th time:
Thank you Pauley!
