Donated blood yesterday
And I'm still feeling tipsy from it! This is weird. Normally it doesn't affect me like this.
I got a groovy T-shirt for it. Since it's July and American patriotism is in high gear, the shirt has the words "Give Blood For America". In Between the words (2 on top, 2 below) is a picture of an eagle in front of the flag. I think it's a nice shirt.
I also got one of those plastic bracelets that are supposedly popular now. They started with Lance Armstrong and went from there. It reads "Blood Donor: Hero For Life"
Blood donation is one of those things that I take to heart. I've always felt it was one of those easy civic duty types of things, so I do my part whenever I can.
