About 35 minutes ago I received a sales call at work, a typical occurrence at my job, and the saleswoman opened up with "How are you?"
I hate that!
Look, you don't care, and don't pretend that you do!
More importantly, don't waste my time. Just get to the point of why you're calling.
None of this false pleasantry is going to work in your favor. Instead, it only serves to annoy me from the start. Just tell me what you want and be quick about it.
It would make life so much easier.
