“What about you, Yami?”
He shrugged and laughed slightly. “Ah…I don’t know. Relationships aren’t my strong point.” He folded his arms. “I’ll just never fall in love and save myself the trouble.”
“Oh come on. You will someday. I bet you will.”
“And I bet-no, I swear-I won’t.” Yami shook his head stubbornly. “I’m just never going to fall in love, that’s that.”
I laughed somewhat too and sighed. “Well, if you say so.”
It might be easy for Yami to say that. Maybe it means nothing to him. But he has no idea how much I hope he’s wrong.
