Five letters, two syllables, takes less than three seconds to say. People say it every single day, to dozens of others. I say it a lot. So does he. There’s nothing special about it. There’s nothing magic.
But when he says it to me, looking at me, with his lips parted in that friendly smile, and with those beautiful innocent eyes and gentle voice, and that little strand of hair falling over his face…there’s something special about it. Something magical.
