*SQUEES* Homghomghomghomg. *SQUEES again* SEQUELNESS. ♥ That was excellent. I especially loved the part where Atemu still acts as the 'desperate, (more vocal) I-still-love-and-need-you' guy in the relationship even after 27 years. 27 years - blimey, that's a really long time for both of them. ;__; I feel sorry I did this to them now, haha but still, I like their--this--happy ending. Really, really nice spin.

Poor Yugi, he's still hung over and between responsibilities and true love. TAT
You're right, the scandal was never really written explicitly, but I just figured that when is homosexuality ever not frowned upon? So whether or not the media caught them "at it" in public his family would've forced them apart. Or something like that. Although the scandal is a nice touch...shows how meddling the press can be. *scowls*
XD; I just kept thinking of the CEO role with Kaiba in it. Minus the trenchcoat and coat tails of doom. XD

I caught a small typo: (Yugi) “No, there is sono ‘still!’ [...]”Other than that... I say you STILL give me too ( ... )

Eee...I'm glad you liked it! =D I tried to do yours justice. ^^; Yes...Atemu always struck me as more of a dreamer. And thus the one that would seek out Yugi in hopes of a second chance. Haha...well they had to work for their happy ending. v.v

Well yeah, true. But considering how meddling the press CAN be, (makes me feel bad for those summer months when I did freelance work. ^^;), it makes sense that they would have gotten wind of it eventually. Plus it was just an extra reason for Yugi to hold out. xD; *mean*
Yeah I thought of Kaiba a few times too. ^^;;; *ded*

*facepalm* &@#%&#Fd!% how did I miss that?! The n and the s are nowhere near each other on the keyboard, and I proofed this like fifteen times. >.< Okay, it's fixed. xD Thank you for catching that.

Thank you for the comment~!

asdfghjkYAY! :D Happy ending is happy. The two stories fitted perfectly together, despite the drastic AU Yuugi was perfectly in character too. XD Props for the "I want to hear it from you" part, that was deep. ♥

I understand your pain, for formal writing at school we can't use contractions. T_T

Hee~ ^_^ Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! And hooray for deep, cause deep is what I was going for there. x3

Ahh, we had to do that too for my English class...it's been so long though, I forgot how difficult it was to not use them. X_x

-Gasp- omg...that was so....emotional! Wow! And I think they would look down upon their relationship in that time period. -sniff- I love happy endings.

OMG. I finished reading all themes :D yay for me! But wait there is no sequel to 49!? D:

Boohoohooo~~ *keeps on crying like a baby* This was soooo bittersweet! I loved every friggin' second of it, I still remember Steam Engine even though I just read it once (it was THAT good) and this... this has made it even more worthwhile to remember (I'm not that fond of angst, I'm more of a fluffy person).

Wow. Just WOW. Twenty seven friggin' years... Poor guys, that's a long time. I understand what Yuugi had to go through, because even when you love something or someone so much, you can't forget your family duties. And I also understand Yami's resolution to put Yuugi above else and screw the rest of the world...

Sometimes this kind of stories are necessary; the truth in our world is that homosexuality is still disgusting through most people's eyes, and to love under those circumstances... ;_; That's why I support homosexuality, it's so stupid to stop loving because of what society tells you... (as if society itself was so smart)

I'm putting this next to Steam Engine in my mp3 player, period.

;__; *pats* It's okay! They're back together so technically it's happy! (Oh I know, Steam Engine was AMAZING. >.> Kaoru's awesome.) Thank you for the comment though, I'm glad you liked it even if it wasn't your genre of choice! (I adore fluff too. x3)

I agree. I think it's beyond wrong that society gets to decide who's allowed to be in love with who. I've actually used that theme a few times in fanfics, (and likely will again) just because it's something I have strong feelings about. Love is love...it shouldn't have "rules" just because both people are the same gender.
