So friends. I'm going to be in Madison this summer! Wooo. It turns out I did get that volunteer job I interviewed for a while before. Which was kind of surprising because I walked out of that interview feeling like the person least fit for what they were looking for. BUT WHATEVER. I'll rock it. And learn like a million and fifty things about life.
So what I'll be doing is crisis intervention counseling for teens in need. Which is scary sounding! But I'm pretty good at listening and being rational, so we'll see. I am very excited! They use a family based theoretical framework, too, which I quite like the sound of. Because no one exists in a vacuum, and peoples problems rarely only effect themselves. (which I think is a major problem with a lot of the approaches advocated in Psych but that's a separate rant)

Also I finished my semester. Three exams in three days is no fun, but I hxc destroyed my Syntax exam (I really wish I had space to take Advanced Syntax next semester :( ). Latin went less swimmingly which was sad, but Greek went better than my other exams in that class so all is well.
And we're going to do a Greek reading group this summer! I am very excited. We might read Cyclops, which is the only existent satyr play. So apparently, back in the Ancient day, they gave a couple satyr plays after performing the Epic Tragedies to lighten up the scene. So essentially it's a bunch of lewd jokes about buggering eachother (excuse me, pederasty). OH GREEK COMEDY, so high-brow :):). But anyway it's about Odysseus and his men in the Cyclops cave, getting the Cyclops hammered and escaping. Or sommat.
