OMG Linguistics text I think I might have to strangle you. For serious don't tell me that the scientific method, as implemented today dates back the the Ancient Greeks, specifically Aristotle and Euclid. Do not use an OVERSIMPLIFICATION through a shoutout to a culturally elevated society FOR NO REASON except to give a thin candy shell of believability to your shoddy science.
Also the argument that language is innate to humans, because, due to the recursive nature of language the novel combinations are infinite, and rules cannot be learned from infinite systems. Right, so than because numbers are infinite I should just disregard math? OR PHYSICS? omgomgomg.
