New home ;)
Finally my living-place trouble is more or less over - last sunday i moved to an appartment (YAHOOOO bye bye dormitory!!!!)
It is a bit costly, and it takes 10 more minutes to get to uni or office... on the other hand - i can always SIT in the bus, since more people get in only few stops later... (the benefit of living in eastern europe - we have very good public transportation system. At least comparing to US ;) Probably even if i HAD a car (still trying to pass a driving exam) i would still use the bus - cheaper then paying those outrageous prices for keeping the car near the university, where it STILL can be spoiled or damaged while i dont see ;)
divainic made me a present - Jungarian dwarf hamster (aka dzjungarian hamster aka Campbell's hamster, aka Russian hamster, aka hairfooted hamster and probably few other names) so me and sister would not feel to lonely in the new place ;)
we had reaaallly long discussions re the name of the new pet - the favorites being "Nux" , "Peregrin "Tux" Took"... but in the end we named him (or her? who cares...) "Google" ;) Well, i wanted something really silly after having a guinea pig named "Susurs" (which is the nickname of my sweety and, in fact, my new domain that has not yet been set up... yeah, http://imagine.serveris.lv is becoming http://www.susurs.net) and a siamese cat named Caesar... Those two animals are living with our parents though ;)
The bad news - looks like my sound card died... It was behaving quite weird for quite a time already - comp froze when i plugined speakers... but now it is dead completly - oh well, things come, things go.....
