warning: this post has a ridiculous amount of "!"
oh wow, the last week has been so fun! it was a flurry of eating out and karaoke i think... sunday met with chieko to wander shibuya and harajuku before meeting with lindsay, jen and james for dinner and purikura. i think i'm spending a lot of my time in harajuku lately... we ate thai! oh, and i'm pretty much on crepe number 5 this week as well... so far, i think my favorite is banana chocolate cream. i DID have tuna curry and cheese yesterday though, which was also pretty good (意外)
monday i went to odaiba with jen and james, where we went to this awesome thai (again) restaurant called "monsoon cafe." rode a ferris wheel, which i'm pretty sure i've never done... i think. it was a little scary. i hadn't so much as picked up my book since the previous wednesday because of being so busy with hanging out, though. school ended on tuesday (and for me for good *tear*) for golden week and because it was the last day, iwasaki-sensei made me do the dictation for the kanji quiz. this worked out in my favor because i definitely was not going to study kanji monday night after odaiba. sadly, i also had to give a goodbye speech (WHY do you love those, japan??)
after school ended (i regret talking to the russian dude once more before leaving) a few friends from class (mee son and yong suk) went to ebisu to the kinenkan, beer museum. if you ever have time during the day to go to ebisu, check it out! you can get 4 mini glasses (a pretty good amount, actually) of yebisu and sapporo beer for 500 yen. i'm not a big beer drinker, but even i liked about 2 of those beers~
we went to the top of the sapporo building and checked out the view of tokyo...almost as good as from tokyo tower!

wednesday was... shimo kitazawa with my roomies akane, hide, and shinya. i bought a cute scarf and keychain and we tried on like every hat in the world. thursday, went to that izakaya from last week again to see everyone and miki's mom (literally!). we had fun and met some random japanese band called "kuroneko"... their lead singer was adorable :-) actually, they were all pretty cute. and then karaoke after with ani and alyssa!
friday, woke up at 1 and chilled out... then went to harajuku with yoshi and kumiko where i bought a.... belt. yoshi got some pretty stylish clothes though~ he's so cute~ then clubbing all night... surprisingly, i had a ton of energy! i think the bouncer guy or whatever liked me or something because he ended up giving me a total of 7 drink tickets and his card at the end of the night to get on their club guestlist.... or something. i had so much fun dancing! hisashiburi~
today i'm exhausted, didn't get to bed til about 730am and was continually kept up by kumiko's alarm at 830 beeping onnn and onnnnnnn for half an hour because she didn't notice it. i feel bad because i know she's exhausted, but that was the first time i was ever annoyed by room noise keeping me from sleep. and what's on the schedule today? i have no idea. ive been wanting to go to baba's shimamura but i haven't had a chance... so maybe that? and then clubbing with roomies tonight at camelot again~~
i've been meeting so many people lately...they're all really nice! i think these days, i'm just a bit more "high tension" than normal (ok rena check out that use of high tension). days are passing so fast, and i can't believe i have less than 2 weeks here in japan. i'm going to miss it so much~
on another note, i FINALLYYY got paid a week late. i didn't have any money taken out for apartment damages, which is amazing because i definitely DID damage that apartment. now i can just live off my savings for the next couple weeks before going home and hopefully not feel guilty for it:)
