my philosophy of religion teacher said in the syllabus:
"Teaching Philosophy
Let me say it bluntly. I AM AN ELITIST, that is, I am interested in cultivating elite students. I have a passion for excellence and try to cultivate that passion in my students. I BELIEVE THAT EVERY STUDENT IS A POTENTIAL GENIUS AND CAN LEARN AT A HIGHER LEVEL THAN THEY EVER IMAGINED. I want to help you realize your highest potential. However, this class may not be for you if:
1. You would rather die than think critically.
2. You believe that asking certain questions puts your immortal soul in danger.
3. You believe that "God said it. I believe it. That settles it."
Critical Thinking is hard work"
um, yes.
and also, what we are studying in that class are the works of Marx, Nietzsche, and Freud.
HELLO ARE YOU JEALOUS OR WHAT JESUS H THAT CLASS IS GOING TO ROCK MY FACE OFF!

call, kids, call.
