Angels, Demons, and COMPS, oh my!
Okay, so I've been rushing to finish up my FIRST playthrough (yes... only the first... i'm so slow) of Devil's Survivor the past couple of days since i accidentally killed off Keisuke and Mari... even with the walkthrough in front of me...
HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO SEE THE TIME LIMITS ON THEIR EVENTS????
Sigh... anyway along the side advertisements I spotted 2 things, which I have begun spazzing about:
1) Devil Survivor 2
This is coming out on the normal DS (2012 in the US sadly), so this is one reason why I can hold off getting a new portable console. A SHITLOAD more Demons and (surprisingly) main characters than before. The majority of my spaz will be aimed to the other release I've spotted, so just read up Devil Survivor 2 HERE.
2) Devil Survivor Overclocked
Another addition that will make my PSP vs. 3DS dilemma much harder. I knew they were making a remake for the 3DS so no reason to replay right? WRONG! Why? Because Overclocked has:
1) Remastered Graphics (woot!)
2) An added 8th day with different endings based on the routes you chose (WOOT!!!)
3) Full Voice Acting (OMFGBBQ!!!!!!)
As you can see I'm mostly excited about the Voice Acting cuz Atlus games never fails to have amazing voice actors. And when i said FULL voice acting I really mean it. Records say it has the most voice acting of any Atlus game to date. What more? About 20,000 words were voiced. 15,000 of those words were for the original 7 days. That means at least 1/4 of the dialog is voiced for the 8th day alone.
They already have tons of voice samples in trailers and profiles on the Overclocked website and i've been spending the past hour trying to figure out who is who because they all sound very familiar and FUCKING AMAZING.
Mostly i want to see if LIAM O'BRIAN and VIC MIGNOGNIA has voiced anything... although is hard to tell at the moment. Out of the available voice clips is sounds like Vic hasn't voiced anything yet (although there are rumors he's done the Gigolo... lol).
As for Liam... well there are 3 bad-ass characters and they sound VERY similar to him other (Naoya, Kaido and Gin) and i'm having an extremely hard time figuring out who did the voice... although I'm too busy squealing like a fan girl at Gin to tell the difference... Gin <3<3<3. And still on the topic of
And MY GOD Naoya and Kaido sound sexier than I imagined. I usually take "goody-two-shoes" routes, but man I might do their routes sooner on Overclocked just to hear them talk >=D
Of course there is 1 person that I'm sure of and that is Melissa Fahn voicing Yuzu (and possibly Amane... but i could be wrong). I know that happy o-lucky voice anywhere. Oh and she was the voice of Gaz on Invader Zim. Even more awesomeness.
Also, Atsuro sound a WHOLE LOT like Dib from Invader Zim... So who knows if it's Andy Bergman or not... But we'll see soon enough.
And that's that.
If this game isn't reason enough to get a 3DS i don't know what is. So imma gonna go finish up killing demons and be on my way soon... Creepy starfish demons...
