My suitcase - 14kgs or so (the lightest out of us three travellers') - in tow, I re-entered Australian domain after eleven days in Singapore. A couple of new shirts, new nail polish, a new book, four new pairs of shoes, new perfume, and two new stamps in my passport. I miss Singaporian weather. We basically left one extreme to enter another (the heat of Singapore to the freezing cold of Sydney). Things seem more efficient there - most notably their train and taxi systems. I lived off rice, noodles and fruit the whole holiday. And got back into That '70s Show and The OC. After visiting the butterfly park I also realised exactly how much I'm terrified of butterflies. I love looking out of the plane window and seeing the clouds below me. It was a good 11 days.
I'm jumping over hurdles again. I checked my semester results to find (much to my amazement) that I have passed all of my subjects. I really don't understand how that happened. Anyway, I've been thinking about applying for an International Exchange Program so I can study my degree overseas. If I continue to do well next semester I'm eligible to apply. Who knows where I'll end up next year. Life is fun that way.
