Things That Are Making Me Giddy:
- Bad Things by Jace Everett. This is being used as the opening theme song for True Blood and I think it fits wonderfully with the series. romanticalgirl! I suggest you listen to this song immediately if you've never heard it before. I think it'll really be up your DBT-lovin' alley. Wow, that sounded really dirty.
- Seeing Goldfrapp in less than 2 weeks... and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds (!!!!) exactly a week after that (on my birthday no less). *dies*
- Re-reading Mary Stewart's The Crystal Cave. Ambrosius is dreamy.
- There has been no Kingdom of Loathing podcasts in forever... now that I've finally caught up I'm going through withdrawals. Speaking of KOL, Sharpie Scouts! Between me, moonpuff, and Mr. moonpuff we've raised 8 million meat, but we need 3 million more to get access to Hobopolis. So log in and start meat farming and help us out! I'd really like to explore it before I ascend.
- Not having HBO so I can't watch True Blood on the television.
- I am out of Mountain Dew.
- My rent is going up another $80. That makes it an almost $200 increase since I moved here less than 3 years ago. The powers-that-be think mighty highly of their property. The bloodsucking fiends!!!
- The asshole neighbor across the hall and his insistence on playing his stereo at window shattering volumes. It's made only worse by his shitty taste in music.
