Book 39 was A Short History of Carvanning In the UK by Richard Hammond, another one of his humorous picture books. Like Car Confidential it was amusing and fun, with lots of references to blowing up caravans. I was amused.
Book 40 was Island of the Sequined Love Nun by Christopher Moore. It wasn't nearly as good as Fluke or Lamb but it was silly enough to read in chunks between passing out from the Vicodin this weekend. It wasn't absurd, though. I dunno. It was okay, but the other two I've read were better. (This is what was available at the library last week.)
Even with my gaps in reading I'm on track to read nearly 70 books this year, which will be nice. I have a couple of short memoirs here that I picked up for the weekend, I'll probably start on one of those later.
