BOOK PROJECT: BOOKS 23, 24 and 25

Book 23 was My Lobotomy by Howard Dully, the story of a man's search for answers. In his 50's, Howard Dully starts investigating just WHY he was lobotomized when he was 12. It was a gripping story of a young boy and a stepmother who kept trying to find answers for her own mental illness in her stepson. I read it in one sitting, unable to put it down.

Book 24 was Yao by Yao Ming. I found it pretty fascinating. It focused far more on his cultural journey from China to the US than on basketball, although it was interesting to see how basketball is handled in China.

Book 25 was WWW:Wake, the first in Robert Sawyer's WWW trilogy. Caitlin Decter was blind from birth, but new technology has allowed her to see. A computer chip connected to the Web via WiFi for software updates is decoding the signals from her retina that her brain couldn't - but its also decoding signals from something else. I really enjoyed this and am kind of sad that I broke my streak lately of not reading trilogies that aren't finished yet. Now I have to -wait-!

Almost done with the last of Key Kenyon's The Entire and the Rose trilogy, which is due back to the library soon so I'd better get to it. :)
