Fucking Boyfriend [EP]

Albus likes Scorpius. Scorpius doesn't know. I saw this picture and knew it was meant to be the cover art. It's basically songs about liking someone with an annoyed undertone to it because, I mean, c'mon, how can Scorpius not like Albus back? And hey! There's some fiction included. The warnings? Well, there's a typo in the backside of the cover art. And it's only five songs. And it's slash. Uh. Yeah, that's about it. I'm also willing to upload individual songs if you'd just ask. Comment and enjoy.

mannequin
usually the queen of figuring it out, breaking down
a man is no work out. but i have no clue how to get
through to you. i wanna hit you just to see if you cry.
i keep knocking on wood, hoping there’s a real boy in-
side, cause you’re not a man, you’re just a mannequin.

Being a Ravenclaw, Albus knows how to read people easily. It is something he must have inherited from his Aunt Hermione, despite the fact there being no blood relation between the two of them. Nonetheless, he knows how to interpret people and their actions. Whether the characters are fiction or nonfiction isn’t a problem because he has an equal chance at discovering their secrets either way. But, there is one who isn’t as easy to identify. Albus tries to talk to him at dinner, sends him notes of folded parchment in Potions class, and even sinks low enough to play the “I-forgot-the-Transfiguration-assignment” inquiry, which is something Albus would never, ever do, because honestly, Albus Potter forgetting the Transfiguration assignment? But he tries his best to make it believable and even part of him is convinced he really did forget the assignment as Scorpius reminds it was an essay on Inanimatus Conjurus. Albus conjured the essay that evening, reeking of post-Quidditch practice sweat, turning it in the next morning. Halfway through class, Albus is asked to speak to Professor after class, more or less about the fact that Albus is succeeding past fifth year material, he assumes. As the group of students exit, his eyes, full of zealot, become devastated and confused. “What do you mean the essay wasn’t about Inanimatus Conjurus? That’s what - ” He happens to see Malfoy lingering at the classroom door.

fucking boyfriend
there is something wrong and there is something right, when you can take me by the hand and i
will close my eyes. when you laid down with me, you took the other side; when you laid down with
me, you never slept that  night. are you working up to something, but you give me almost nothing. keep
me hopeless. up to something. on my knees. would you ever, would you ever be my fucking boyfriend?

It’s been weeks since Scorpius first initiated Albus into his life. He apologized shortly after, and, against Albus’ desire to tell him to sod off, they continue their… friendship. Although the term friendship seems inane. Over the few months of their ‘friendship,’ it seemed Albus had spent more time with Scorpius than any other classmate. Between the daunting OWLs approaching and Quidditch finals that conducted intense practices, Albus barely found time to linger around the Slytherin for too long. But the time they spent together was enjoyable, to say the least. Often, Scorp would lace his fingers through Albus’ and press his face into Albus’ neck. This was always done in private, however; on top of the Astronomy Tower, behind a tree in the courtyard, underneath the castle in the dark dungeons. Albus considered all of these activities leading to something, and as they sat in the Quidditch stands, as Gryffindor clashed against Hufflepuff, he embraced his friend’s face in his hands, pressing his lips towards the Slytherin, but Scorp tore off before he could even blink. He didn’t say anything, only cheered as Hufflepuff circled the stadium in a victory fly.

i like you so much...
all the clever things i should say to you, they got stuck somewhere, stuck between me and you. oh, i’m nervous,
i don’t know what to do. light a cigerrate, only smoke when i’m with you. oh, what the hell do i that for? you’re just
another guy. okay, you’re kinda sexy, but you’re not really special. but i won’t mind if you take me home. i won’t mind
if you take off all your clothes (c’mon, take 'em off) cause i like you so much better when you're naked, i like me so much...

Albus likes being naked. Not because of the activities that inevitably follow, but the feeling of skin against water, skin against bed sheets, skin against other skin. It’s been a year since the two began their relationship, and although Albus can’t imagine himself with anybody else, Scorp can. They’ve had sex, in the lucky Room of Requirement Scorpius introduced to him. They both confessed, at that time, it was neither of their first times. Albus lied. And now, whenever he sees Scorpius carrying the books of Katherine Longbottom, he’s angry. How could he not be? However, none of that matters when they’re naked. The problems of his social life, complications of school and classes, and choosing the perfect Quidditch team as captain; it all goes away when they rid of each other’s clothes. And the fact that Scorpius doesn’t really like him happens to disappear too. Of course, the feelings return when he spots his best friend giving Jocelyn Davis a peck on the cheek, but in less than an hour, they’re back to being naked.

hot n’ cold

Albus still faces the quandary as Christmas of seventh year comes along. Standing outside in the falling snow, staring at the store windows of Honeydukes, it’s not a matter of what he’s going to get Scorpius, but a question if he’s going to. If it’s worth it. He decides to do so, and, upon the last day of school before the Winter Break, he delivers the gift, obviously wrapped manually. The Ravenclaw considered it a nice touch, what with all people being lazy in using magic to wrap their gifts for them. This was much more personal. But not as personal as Scorpius tells him he doesn’t want to see him anymore. Their ‘friendship’ is over.

foundations
then i’ll use that voice that you find annoying and say something like,
“yeah, what intellect input darling, why don’t you just grab another beer
then?” then you’ll call me a bitch and i won’t give a shit - my fingertips
are holding onto the cracks in our foundation and i know i should let
go, but i can’t, and every time i fight, i know it’s not right, every time
you’re upset and i smile, i know i should forget, but i can’t...

From time to time, Albus sees Scorpius with his recently married wife... and her explicit pregnancy as a sign of their stagnant wedding. But Albus also gets to see Scorpius in Albus' bed, the smell of whiskey lingering in the air as the married man complains about his marriage and how he wanted to end up with Albus.
