Find an apartment is incredibly time consuming...in fact its consuming most of the time I don't have.
Jamie and I are looking in Brighton, Brookeline, and JP...
Monday we had an appointment to meet a realtor from PREVIEW PROPERTIES named TERRY
First he FORGOT he had to pick us up making us walk to beacon st to personally tell him the street was open because of the marathon even though it was 5 and the marathon officially ends at 4.
Next we get into his TAN LEXUS SUV that he's where he brings us to the first of twelve apartments.
We arrive at the first apartment which apparently you need to sign into and take off your shoes to view. he doesnt have a pen so he leaves us in the porch while he runs back to his car only to return with no pen. I ask him what floor the apartments on and he says the third so we walk up ONE FLIGHT OF STAIRS and he says 'looks like no ones here so you don't have to take off your shoes' Jamie and i are a lil confused because were definetly on the second floor but he tells us to look around. He completely leaves us to wander the apartment and ignore us to take photos WITHOUT THE CONSENT OF THE RENTERS. then a girl walks out of a bedroom (its a five bedroom apartment we are looking for a two) we're in the wrong apartment...so now we head to the third floor but the key doesn't work. we go to the second apartment he is going to show us. He unlocks the door for us and then tells us to go in and look around he left something in his car. HE LEAVES US ALONE IN THIS APARTMENT! immediatley we notice it's a split and not actually a two bedroom so we close the door and peace out to find Terry he tells us its listed as a two bedroom then goes inside and takes pictures of it leaving Jamie and myself outside by his car. we decide one more apartment and if he continues to be as unprofessional as this we're saying something and leaving. Apartment building three first place in it he shows us the keys dont work, second place he shows us a woman asks "who is it" "realtor" says Terry she answers the door saying "im sick and tired of you guys coming here this apartment is not for rent ive called several times to have it taken off the market" *SLAMS* door in our faces. we do finally see one two bedroom apartment after that in the same building but who knows if that one was even really for rent. I told him off telling him how unprofessional it was and what a waste of our time its been and we Jamie and I left and walked to Zeans. I called and put in a complaint to their offices where they too had nothing to say except "TErry's new to the business"
PREVIEW PROPERTIES SUCKS...
P.S. he also didnt know where he was going, and swore "fuck" "shit" about a dozen times, also none of the buildings he showed us were appropriate for College Students they were all young stuck up your ass YP buildings
