Greetings from way too hot Littleton, Colorado, the site of my new life so it seems so far.
My life so far in perfectly boring, to say the least. The most I've accomplished is ALMOST beating the first world in Super Mario Brothers 3. I'm working at Il Vicino here in Littleton, and I'm officially enrolled in the Community College of Denver, right in the heart of downtown. I'm excited for everything to start up, but I fear it's going to kill me when it does. I'm taking 9 hours, working 40, and I already got a volunteer job in a theater in Denver. So I guess things are looking up, but just boring. Having no money yet, I haven't really done anything. I found a pizza place, a coffee shop, and I wandered the 16th street mall but could buy nothing. For fun, Bryan and I went to the Cherry Creek Mall and went to Sack's Fifth Avenue and checked out 110 dollar logo t-shirts. RIDICULOUS.
Anyways, some details.
I live in a house in Littleton, which is about 15 minutes from downtown Denver. Bryan and I have a two bedroom, 1 living room, 1 bathroom basement and above us his sister Carrie, her boyfriend, and her 10 year old son have the same set up only above ground. Bryan and I have orange linoleum flooring and indoor-outdoor carpet in the bedrooms. We have no furniture, so we have set up a mattress (stolen from Carrie) as a couch, and have a piece of presswood as an entertainment center with our tv and such. We have 1 bed and no dresser. And our bed is really just an air mattress Bryan's dad bought for us at Wal-Mart. GHETTO. It rocks. Oh, and we have an office too! It consists of a box containing paper and pencils and our computer nicely set up on the floor.
Carrie is awesome. I enjoy hanging out with her and talking to her. She is intensely mean which I find humorous, but Bryan get's annoyed at.
Ugh, being forced off...more later.
