Cory's house caught fire this morning. luckily, he was at his mom's apartment, along with the rest of his family, so no one is injured.
he lost all his family artifacts, awards he's ever won including track medals, varsity letters and the works
we went up to the house to investigate after school, looking for something he could salvage. we didn't find anything, except a bit of fabric from his old African suit that he wore once freshman year.
it was sad seeing the place. the whole thing is gone, and all the things around it are ruined beyond repair or warped from the heat.
