Hello peeps
ok, i've bought a wireless router, and am having some problems setting it up, help would be appreciated. here's how i've done so far.
hooked up the router, power and modem cable in, ethernet to pc out. have set dns and ip config to automatic. as specified in the setup manual. then used the default http address to access the router. but it won't communicate with it. the power/wan and 1'st lan lights are blinking on the router, but the comp doesen't want to see it. it says about setting the subnet mask ip to the same range as the cable modem, but i don't know how to find the modem ip?
Specs :
4Mb NTL broadband
802.11b wireless router with 4 lan ports.
windows xp pro (corporate)
1.5Ghz P4, 640Mb rambus.
any help with this would be appreciated as i've got a wifi laptop hopefully arriving tomorrow, and i'd love to get this sorted in time :)
Thanks.
