Bach or Beethoven - a study in preference and skills/occupations
Poll Do you prefer Bach or Beethoven?
Just out of curiosity...
I am posting the above poll. Please do the poll honestly and fairly. winikoff and I are curious to see whether music preferences correlate to academic abilities in certain areas, and the resultant career choices.
I'm not going to post the premise here, until we get some posting happening and some results, in case they skew the data. Of course, this is not scientific in the least, it's just for fun, but try to do it seriously.
If you have more than one degree, fill the group that you would use to describe yourself. For example, I have studied Software Engineering at postgraduate level, but would describe myself as an Arts Graduate, because most of my training and degrees are in that area. Michael has AMusA, but he'd best be described as a Computing Science Nerd Graduate :-)
Likewise, if you have a B.Ed, but your basic degree was in Maths. with a Bachelor of Science, you'd probably best be described as a Maths. Grad (with optional extras!) and would fit the Science Grad grouping for this study, as most of your training was in the Science area.
