why do people treat me like i'm crazy for being politically aware?

edit: it just infuriates me how someone could be willfully, proudly ignorant. like it's a good thing. let me ask you, do you want another holocaust on your hands? i'm not saying that's what will happen, but its the perfect example of how terrible atrocities can be committed by a government and no one is the wiser. bear in mind the world didn't know about the camps until after the war, which is a pretty big cover up, wouldn't you say? considering all the people involved. government conspiracy and the following cover ups are widely accepted as fact, yet it is considered crazy to suspect one in the making or recognize one in the recent past. i blame the moon landing people, they fucked it all up.
