Freshers' Mania @_@
Well, despite my fears I survived last night's event, although I certainly can't dispute the appropriateness of Freshers' Mania as it's title ^^;. To summarise: there were lots of spectacularly drunk people; my corridor mates decided to use the mens' toilets because there was less of a queue; the floor in the octagon was so tacky I'm surprised I didn't get stuck to it; people fell over and used disabled ramps as slides (also a by-product of drunkness); there were even more drunk people; we missed the women's safety bus; I went deaf yet again; and it was so crowded that I couldn't move. Yay. But I lasted until 1:30am, and the break dancers were very cool! Could've watched them for hours XD. Overall, it actually wasn't as bad as I feared, but I'm very much ready for the end of freshers week. I think I must be wired wrongly...or perhaps one just has to be utterly drunk to appreciate freshers' events XD.
Anyway, I now have to brave the freezing Ranmoor showers and tidy my room (how did it get in a mess so quickly?) before Japan Fest this evening. Still very excited about that *bounces*.
