[Dazed and more than a little bit confused. It sounds like an individual just waking up from a long night of deep sleep. ]

[She's just. So confused.]

Kyou...? [Disorientated, and trying to wake up and figure things out. He sounds almost panicked. Did this mean her device was on again?]

[And here he comes practically flying into the room because ZOMG it's Tohru. He's short of breath and obviously ran the whole way here.]

[And suddenly he feels nervous because he doesn't know what to expect.]

I'm sorry. Was I out for a long time? [She smiles cheerfully at him. From the sound of it he made it seem like she had to have been out all day.] I didn't mean to keep you waiting.

[Moves carefully into the room as his breath evens out. Cautious about everything, almost a little fearful. It can be heard in his voice.]

How do you feel?

[Coming to her side, he lifts a hand to feel her forehead, but pauses before touching her as he realizes what he could discover due to touching her.]

Are you okay?

[She notices the concern and hesitation. Knowing that she had caused him to become so worried over her made her sad. She'd rather see him smile. He seemed so cautious. Hoping to lighten the mood, she gave him another smile. This one a bit sheepish.]

It's a little chilly in here and my head is a bit sore. But other than that I feel fine. I'm just a little disorientated.

[Her choice of words didn't really sit well with him, breath catching in his throat.]

You're cold?

[He frowned, not ready to touch her yet.]

Like, chilly cold? Would a blanket help? Or more of a frozen to the bone cold?

Maybe because I just don't have enough skin on my bones it is easy to feel as though I'm that cold. Kyou always called me too skinny. [Light laugh.] But I think another blanket would help. Our bed at home is a lot warmer.

[Their bed. At least she seemed to remember their life here.]

I'll take you home as soon as they say I can.

[Swallowing nervously, he really wanted to touch her, to verify that she was genuinely here again. To know how well she really was. Terrified, he pulled out the blanket resting at the end of her bed and shook it out with the intention of covering her up.]

[Pulling it up over her, he got it up to around her shoulders and paused before continuing. He lightly brushed the back of his hand over her cheek, holding his breath the whole time. The warmth that welcomed him was enough to make the tension in his body melt away with a relieved sigh.]

[Reaching out, she gently grasped his hand. She had noticed as the tension seemed to disappear from his body. But she still didn't really understand the situation.]

Kyou...um..what happened...?

[Kyou paused, not really sure what all to tell her about what had happened. The truth, but slowly was probably best.]

You...hit your head when you were cleaning.

[That would explain the bandages, she thought, as she raised a hand to tenderly touch the spot that still felt a little sore on her head.]

Cleaning...I'm having trouble remembering the day very much. By this point I must deserve an award for most clumsy.
