So, first things firts: I love my son!

Secondly:
Tom K will be picking me up straight from work to meet up with Dave T and head on over to sunny Hazel Park, Michigan. The Madness will ensue.
I'm going to be seeded 6th in Division 2 if the divisions stay how they are. It is a pretty large division, so really anything could happen, but if everyone plays to their potential, it should be a dead heat for the top spots. In preparation, I've been drilling the high-prob 7s to make sure I don't miss too much easy shit like I have been recently. No 5s and no 4s, because the bingoes are really the part of my game that has been atrophying.
I'm excited to play, but even more excited to be out of town and hanging out with a few of my favorite Scrabble peeps. Tom Kowalik, Dave Turissini and I will be sharing a car and room. Should be a lot of fun.
Hopefully, I won't suck it up too bad.
And thirdly,
Chicago made a smart pick with Rose as the #1 selection in the draft, but really dropped the ball in Round 2 by taking Weems over CDR.
I was really looking forward to having the Bulls be my favorite team. I can only imagine that they are really beat up about my disappointment.
Alright, I frantically packed on the way out the door this morning and now am on my way to pick up a few odds and ends to make sure I'm fully clothed and groomed this weekend.
