1. Are you a vegetarian? Vegan?
No, but I eat quite a lot of vegetarian meals since meat makes me feel gross a lot of the time.
2. What's your favorite food?
Depends on the mood and the season. Recently, I've been craving cold peanut noodle salad with cucumbers. Also fresh in season fruit is about impossible to pass up. Sweets are probably my least favorite. Pork is my meat of choice.
3. White bread or whole wheat?
Spelt Ancient Grain. Best. Toast. Ever.
4. What's for breakfast?
Tre Kronor is my favorite in Chicago and Melanie's (Boone, NC) is quite possibly my favorite over all. Intellegentsia Coffee, fruit/granola/yogurt, best/toast/ever with apple butter, a good free-range grain-fed over-easy egg, and deli-counter rasher-style bacon. oooooo man!
5. In lieu of the Dagwood question: What is your favorite restaurant?
Lula Cafe in Logan Square is best.
6. What's on your pizza?
I love white pizzas with spinach, goat cheese, and sliced tomatoes. Also really good Napolitan pizza makes me want to spit it's so good.
7. Coffee, tea, milk, or soda?
Coffee. Milk. Tea. No soda.
8. Dark, milk, or white chocolate?
Dark, mostly.
9. Teetotal, beer, wine, or hard liquor?
I love beer. Good beer. Thoughtful beer. Oatmeal Stout. Anything from Anderson Valley Brewing Co., Bells Brewing Co., and Cottonwood Brewery in Asheville. Yum.
10. Does cilantro taste like citrus, or like soap?
Cilantro tastes like sunshine.
11. Is chorizo the greatest thing ever or is it totally disgusting?
Prett darn tasty if used conservatively.

Cooked, well-done.

eh. I eat it so rarely, I don't even think about it. For the most part I don't like it.

All of the above... Moroccan is among my favorites.

Oranges that are in season are perfect. Red grapes. A real Southern watermelon (haven't had a good one in the Midwest). I like honey dew melon during the 3 days a year that they are actually edible. Fuji Apples.
19. Cheese - thumbs up or thumbs down? How about blue cheese?
Yum. Stinky cheese is great in small quantities with fruit or on a cheeseburger (The Stilton burger at Goose Island Brewpub is one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth).
20. Finally, favorite dessert?
I'm a sucker for a good thick cheesecake. Also, things involving berries and chocolate. For the most part though, I avoid dessert.
