Help for Pakistan
Some of you will see this more than once... sorry.
I've been having trouble writing lately--you all know that. But maybe it's because there's been nothing pushing me to write. I need inspiration. I need focus. I need something to push me.
And what better than help for a country that so desperately needs it?
So. Inspired by help_haiti a few months ago, I'm offering a fanfic to everyone who responds to this post at my regular journal and makes a donation to help the Pakistani people. I'm not going to be specific about where or to whom you donate--that's your business--but I am going to ask for evidence that you've done it. So:
Any donation up to $10 gets you a drabble.
Any donation from $10 to $20 gets you 500 words.
$20-30 gets you 1000 words.
Above $30 will get you 2000 words.
The above are all in US dollars.
I'll write for Doctor Who, Harry Potter, or Torchwood (though I'm not particularly familiar with Eleven yet, so be aware of that). Send me an email (aibhinn@livejournal.com will reach me) with proof of your donation--most online donation sites will send you a confirmation email; just delete your private information and forward it along.
It's not much, I know, but it's what I can do at the moment (besides my own donation, of course). Anyone interested?
