I continue to adore this fic :) The emotions are so vivid and the details are very descriptive. I'm very intrigued that the Weevils cower before Rose and wonder just what that might mean. I can't wait for the next chapter!

Oh! Oh more mystery and Rose being coherent.

The Weevils went meekly this time, looking over their shoulders at Rose as they went. She stood there watching them, her expression filled with a mixture of confusion and fear and other things Jack couldn't begin to describe. Once the others had got the Weevils down into the cell area, he finally re-holstered his weapon and turned to Rose, taking her hands. "You all right?" he asked.

Reminded me so much of Rose's expression in Tooth & Claw when she saw the werewolf eat the captain -- fear and unwilling fascination.

And poor Rose... years passed in her time then, years and years and she's the only one left.

Yes, that's it exactly--she can't really believe what's happening, and she's transfixed, unable to move and fascinated.

And poor Rose... years passed in her time then, years and years and she's the only one left.

You'll find out in chapter 4 just how long it's been, for both her and for Jack.

Poor Rose, convinced at first it was a dream.

Loved their flirting. Glad to see that they're both still the same underneath it all.
