...So I've never reviewed any of your fics before, even though I love every little bit of your writing. I was thinking about reviewing the first part earlier today, when I first read it. Then you come and post more, and I think I love you a little more. Fantastic, is what you are.
My favorite line: "Who's afraid of the big, bad wolf…?" she sang quietly. because I just love the saying, and I can just hear her... *shivers*
and this: "So much blood," she mused, though Jack could see nothing but dirt. "Blood on our hands. None of it ever touched us, but it's still there. We're covered in it, drowning in it..." this reminded me of River in Serenity. Itdid. I love it. Everything you write is absolutely fantastic, and I love it. <3
Anyways, thank you for updating so soon after the first part, and pleasepleaseplease update again, soon!
Oh my goodness. What a wonderful review! Thank you so much. I'm so glad you've been enjoying my writing--I've certainly enjoyed working on it all. :)
As for the River Tam thing... Don't tell Joss, but she was part of my inspiration for Rose in this chapter. "Old men covered in blood--it never touched them, but they're drowning in it." Which, of course, makes no sense until you get to the end of Serenity and realise what she's talking about. Similarly, nobody except Jack understands what Rose is saying, but he certainly does.

Thank you so much, Rae. Your help has been invaluable, not only in this fic, but in everything I've written since we started working together. *hugs* You rock.
