Mah weekend, let me show you it
It's been a quiet weekend here, which is kind of nice. :D Last weekend I spent Saturday doing housework (including cleaning carpets, bleah) and Sunday relaxing, but this weekend I reversed it--mainly because I got caught up in books yesterday and looked up to realize it was 5 p.m. After having gotten up at 8:30. :P
Today I meant to go to church, but didn't wake up until just about the time it was starting. So much for that. :P I'll make a point to go to Pre-Sanctified on Wednesday, though. So I got up and dinked around for a bit, had some breakfast, and then about 11 decided to get going. I went and washed & vacuumed the car, went over to the dealership to pick up my license plates (but will have to go back tomorrow, since the Parts & Service dep't was closed), then went and did some shopping (George Foreman grill ftw!) before I went to hang out with morgaine_nicely for a while over at Panera, which was fun; we hadn't seen each other in months.
I picked up some rubbing compound at the auto parts store, to take off the paint transfer I accidentally got on my car (brushed a little close to the pole of my carport--stupid me), and then went over to my sister's for a little while. Came home, got the paint transfer off in about fifteen minutes, then came upstairs to make dinner on my new Foreman grill. Finally got some laundry in the washer and the vacuum run, though I didn't dust this week. :P Ah well, at least most of it's taken care of, and the rest can be done next weekend. It's amazing how quickly cat fur and dust collect in the carpet, though.
And now I'm just waiting for the closing ceremonies to start. I think I'm going to be up late tonight... and then up late tomorrow night too, because of class. :P Suckerific. To bed at 6 p.m. on Tuesday to make up for it, I guess.
