Feeling virtuous!
Accomplished and virtuous, that's me today! (For the first time in a while, too!)
Today, I have:
* Worked all day with only me in the classroom, for the first time all year, because Jen was sick;
* Contacted a parent who desperately needed contacting;
* Followed through on some important discipline stuff (which is where I usually fall down; I *hate* dealing with discipline);
* Filed said discipline stuff;
* Made sure my discipline log and parent contact log were both up-to-date;
* Graded 3 classes' worth of papers;
* Did my supervision duty morning and afternoon;
* Took care of some really annoying paperwork (more annoying than grading, even!);
* Went to Mom's and took care of her kitty, even though she's coming home in about an hour or so;
* Ate leftovers so I wasn't spending money;
* Did some grocery shopping for dinner this week and bought only what I intended to buy;
* Came home and did some more laundry;
* Did the dishes (well, put them in the dishwasher and started it, at least);
* Made my lunch for tomorrow.
If I can finish the kitchen (sweep, mop, etc.) and straighten up the living room tomorrow, then clean the bathroom on Wednesday and my bedroom on Thursday, that means when I get back from Idaho on Sunday, I'll come home to a lovely, tidy apartment. How cool would that be?
So now I think I'm off to brush my teeth and go to bed. I slept really well again last night, and woke up rested this morning. Let's see if I can do that twice in a row. :) And maybe I can get chapter 8 of Ulysses (finally) posted before I leave!
